Organic Basics is a Copenhagen based brand producing women's activewear, loungewear, and organic cotton underwear. Organic Basics is committed to transparency, inclusivity, and sustainability. Our favorite part about this ethical brand is the passion for educating consumers on the multifaceted factors behind true sustainability. Organic Basics provides detailed sources on intersectional environmentalism in the About tab, highlighting their sustainable practices and even points of areas of improvement within their brand.
Our Favorites
We are huge fans of the Soft Touch Collection by Organic Basics. This ethically made clothing line consists of bras, underwear, t-shirts, pants, and shorts that are perfect for summertime outfits. We recommend mixing and matching items for comfortable and cute loungewear sets. The ultra-soft and silky collection is made from TENCEL™ Lyocell — a recycled wood pulp fiber. TENCEL™ Lyocell is an eco-friendly fiber made from responsibly sourced wood pulp. The wood pulp is dissolved in a closed-loop process with a non-toxic organic solvent, then the solution is forced through tiny holes in order to create a magical biodegradable fiber that feels softer and lighter than cotton.
